Who we are
The people behind iClass Builder
Gene Nacey (Coach Gino), an elite level certified USA Cycling coach and former Entrepreneur of the Year for his healthcare technology work, founded Cycling Fusion in 2007. He created an Indoor Cycling program that introduced health clubs to virtual cycling in group classes, pioneered live broadcasting of cycling classes over the internet, created the first website for managing Heart Zones® training load, and built the first streaming library of cycling videos. Coach Gino also wrote the first eBook for training with power on indoor cycle bikes, and more recently the first iBook on the same subject; The Complete Guide To Power Training
In 2009, working with Mark Dalrymple, iOS developer & technology guru, they spawned multiple mobile applications, including the first mobile application for Indoor Cycling instructors, Class Builder in 2011. The requirements of the new platform has resulted in Gino selling all of Cycling Fusion except for the mobile applications and forming Class Builder as its own company to provide the time and brain space to focus on only this application.
Mark Dalrymple has been working with Gino since they first met in 2009. Since then, they've shipped numerous versions of Class Builder and Ride Buddy Buckets (a heart rate monitor and training app based on Heart Zones®). Mark is a long-time software developer, alum of AOL and Google, currently writing iOS software for clients of the Big Nerd Ranch. Mark is the author of the book Advanced Mac OS Programming: The Big Nerd Ranch Guide_ and principal author of the book _Learn Objective-C on the Mac_. In his spare time, he plays trombone and bassoon in a number of Pittsburgh-area music groups and rides road bikes on local trails.
